Where to Live?

I grew up in Kansas City and as much as I love it here I don’t want to spend the rest of my life here. I’m so blessed that I was given the opportunity to be able to go to college outside of Missouri and experience things outside of my comfort zone. As some people might be hesitant to be thrown out of their comfort zone it tends to give me a high. I never want to get too comfortable and I think settling and living in Missouri would be exactly that. How can you enjoy all that life has to offer if you stay in the same place forever? Don’t get me wrong, I love Kansas City. Even though we may be in the middle of nowhere there actually is a lot to do. I have always found inspiration in art history and museums, and the museums in KC and First Fridays are so much fun and inspiring to go to. Growing up it seemed like there was never really anything to do but now that I’m older I see that I have just begun to really fully explore KC. That is one of the main reasons I decided to move back. I’m not sure on how long I plan to be back but I plan on taking advantage of as much of the city as I can before I move to my next adventure.

I have compromised this list as a rough draft of places I hope to visit and maybe one day live. I have been to most of these cities already but haven’t gotten to immerse myself into the culture and really explore.

  • Dallas
  • Tampa
  • Orlando
  • New Orleans
  • New York City
  • LA
  • San Diego
  • Chicago
