Valentine’s Day Mini-Series
Hey guys! How was your weekend? I spent the entire weekend cooped up suffering from migraines. 🙁 Not so much fun as you can imagine. But, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow and today I’m sharing another throwback post, 5 Showstopper Valentine’s Day Dates.

5 Showstopper Valentine’s Day Dates
I recently posted a short Valentine’s series for the 3 different types of people around this holiday. The first post was for the type of people who don’t love but don’t hate Valentine’s Day and could really go either way. Be sure to read that article here.
The second post was for the type of people who hate Valentine’s Day, and mostly for single women. You can check out that article here.
Well, I couldn’t write an article for 2/3 types of people so I decided to write something for those readers who love Valentine’s Day. In today’s post I am going to give you 5 dates to totally go all out for this Valentine’s Day.
1) Lunch/Dinner cruise
I got the idea for this date over the New Year holiday while I was in New Jersey. This is such a great idea and something that I would be over-the-top excited for. Dinner cruises are pretty expensive but what a way to show your significant other you care!
2) Spa Day
There is nothing more relaxing than a day at the spa. Why not schedule an entire couple’s spa package this Valentine’s Day and submerge into complete relaxation with the one you care about most. I love getting massages and I’ve always wanted to try facial treatments and mud baths and who better to experience that with than the person I love most.
If you’ve read the other two posts or my birthday post you would know that I loved my visit to the wine bar. Going to an actual winery would be amazing and Valentine’s is the perfect time to do so. Although, hopefully the next time Kaalen and I go we learn how to slowly drink our wine.
4) Road-trip to nearby city
Turn Valentine’s Day into Valentine’s weekend and make a road trip to a city nearby. Pretend to be a tourist and visit all the local hotspots and you can even splurge and stay at a really nice hotel. It’s always healthy for a relationship to mix up your surroundings to stay away from falling into routine. Kaalen and I have only been on a few road trips together and I really hope we are able to do more. Even though I get pretty car sick I still love the idea of a good road trip.
And don’t forget to check out my Road Trip Must-Haves post for what to pack!
5) Bed & Breakfast
I’ve never been to a BNB and I feel like it should be on every couple’s bucket list. I don’t really know too much about BNB’s but Valentine’s sounds like the perfect chance to get away and escape to one. I mean it beats the traditional fancy dinner date.
Hopefully I gave all of my Valentine lovers some showstopper date ideas. I know I would love the chance to be able to spend Valentine’s Day with Kaalen but am so grateful he thought to send flowers to my house for me to cherish. It’s the little things that go a long way in long distance relationships and I can’t wait to be able to live out some of these dates.
