As a blogger a lot of the work I do is done at home. And creating a space where I can both be inspired and focused is important. One of my favorite things to do on Pinterest is to look at home office decor. Hopefully one day I can create and design a home office worthy of Pinterest. But for now, I’m happy with my little corner of my room where I can do the work I love to do. So for today’s post I’m sharing my home office desk essentials.
My Home Office Desk Essentials
My planner is the holy grail of my home office. Its the glue that keeps myself and my blog together. From scheduling blog posts, to sticky notes of the thoughts in my head, it’s all held neatly together in my beautiful Erin Condren Life Planner. Well, to be honest I have 2. One, hourly calendar and one vertical calendar (review on those soon to come.)
- File Cabinet
Another essential component of my home office is my file cabinet. I like to keep this close by because it holds all of the documents that I’m currently working on. I also keep all of my “blog binder” refills stocked in my file cabinet.
- To-do List
I keep my to-do list right on my desk, always in sight so I know what I’m working towards. My mind is always working 100 mph and I can be working on 2-5 projects at any given time. So having a dedicated list in front of me is vital to keeping me on track.
My pretty pink folder is where I keep all of my important papers. Things like resumes, cover letters, etc.
